THE draws for the quarter-final pairings of the Philip Doyle Junior B Football Championship and the Arklow Bay Hotel Junior C Football Championship were made on Monday evening with some very interesting clashes thrown up.
High-flying Avondale will face Dunlavin as they bid for a semi-final berth having blitzed their way through Group 4. Dunlavin finished second in Group 1 behind Rathnew.
Tinahely’s second team will face the tough task of taking on Enniskerry in their last-eight clash. Tinahely were unbeaten in the group stages with Enniskerry’s one slip being against Eddie Leonard’s Avoca.
The Rooster Park outfit will take on Bray Emmets in their quarter-final while Rathnew will take on Knockananna who finished second behind Avondale.
Two strong sides in the Arklow Bay Hotel Junior C Football Championship will collide when Éire Óg take on St Patrick’s who were beaten by Donard-The Glen in the group stages.
Donard-The Glen will take on Coolkenno who lost out in a cracker to Tinahely recently while Kilmac and Barndarrig is a fixture well worth seeing.
