Cham­pi­onship draws

THE draws for the quar­ter-fi­nal pair­ings of the Philip Doyle Ju­nior B Foot­ball Cham­pi­onship and the Ark­low Bay Ho­tel Ju­nior C Foot­ball Cham­pi­onship were made on Mon­day evening with some very in­ter­est­ing clashes thrown up.

High-fly­ing Avon­dale will face Dunlavin as they bid for a semi-fi­nal berth hav­ing blitzed their way through Group 4. Dunlavin fin­ished sec­ond in Group 1 be­hind Rath­new.

Ti­na­hely’s sec­ond team will face the tough task of tak­ing on Enniskerry in their last-eight clash. Ti­na­hely were un­beaten in the group stages with Enniskerry’s one slip be­ing against Eddie Leonard’s Avoca.

The Rooster Park out­fit will take on Bray Em­mets in their quar­ter-fi­nal while Rath­new will take on Knock­ananna who fin­ished sec­ond be­hind Avon­dale.

Two strong sides in the Ark­low Bay Ho­tel Ju­nior C Foot­ball Cham­pi­onship will collide when Éire Óg take on St Pa­trick’s who were beaten by Donard-The Glen in the group stages.

Donard-The Glen will take on Coolkenno who lost out in a cracker to Ti­na­hely re­cently while Kil­mac and Barn­dar­rig is a fix­ture well worth see­ing.
