Wicklow Dementia Support Group: Meets in St Peter’s Parish Hall every Monday from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Monday Club is a social club for people with memory loss and their family carers. Support activities, fun and outings. For more information contact 089 4286928.

Kids Club: Our Lady Queen of Peace Family Mass Group meet every Wednesday from 2.45 p.m. till 3.30 p.m. in the Villa Pacis in preparation for family friendly Mass starting in September. Children of all ages are welcome for gospel stories, arts and crafts, prayers and hymns.
Knock Pilgrimage Mass: A Mass in honour of the Holy Face will take place on Saturday, September 14, St Therese Holy Face Prayer Group and Human Life International (Ire) are holding their seventh annual Mass of Atonement and Reparation. See Notice in Church Porch for details.
Holy Ghost Missions: The Holy Ghost Missions wish to convey their deep gratitude to our kind parishioners for their generous contributions and loyal support to their recent envelope collection.
Lourdes: A petition box and book are in place at the Altar. These petitions will be presented to Our Lady at the Grotto for all your intentions. Please do not put money in the envelopes or the petition box. A meeting took place last Monday night for all those travelling to Lourdes in the Villa Pacis.

QOP YOUTH CLUB
Thanks to Mike, nine members of the Queen of Peace adventure Youth Club enjoyed a visit to Dalkey Castle where they minted some medieval coins before visiting Sandycove Beach where they had lunch. Following that they went to Joyce’s Tower. Lastly they walked into Dun Laoghaire where they had refreshment, and then returned home having had a very good day out.
Mike’s co-leader was Emer, and this was just one of the many trips and events that Mike has on his programme for the club. The club needs new leaders to help deliver their interesting and challenging winter programme.
Congratulations to Stephen Power and to David Speicher both have completed training for the one star diver certificate and will be tested for same within the next 10 days. This qualification has worldwide recognition and is a licence to dive at any diving centre. They are active members of Wicklow Aquanauts which is based in Greystones Harbour. Monthly indoor lectures of the Cualann Historical Society, the local history society for the Bray and North Wicklow Area, will resume in September in the Royal Hotel, Bray, when the autumn programme will commence, details of which will announced shortly.
