SIS­TER ANN’S MIS­SION TO HAITI

An­other suc­cess­ful year of fundrais­ing has been com­pleted. Thanks to Louise, The Chair Yoga Group, Cora Jones from O’Domhaill Rua, Red­cross, An Garda Síochána and a pri­vate do­na­tor. One cou­ple also spon­sored a child for one year in school. This year two houses will be built. Re­main­ing funds will be used for school­ing and other nec­es­sary needs.

AC­TIVE RE­TIRE­MENT

Mem­bers – great ex­er­cise, join the Satur­day morn­ing strollers, lovely walks and great so­cial gath­er­ing. Meet in the car park, Avoca at 11 a.m. We hope to see more mem­bers join­ing us.

Yoga re­sumes af­ter the sum­mer break on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 19, at 10 a.m., a few place still avail­able for more de­tails call 087 1334590.

CONARY PAR­ISH CHURCH

The Har­vest Thanks­giv­ing Ser­vice will be in St Bartholome­w’s Church, Conary on Septem­ber 15 at 7.30 p.m. Mu­sic is by the Four Hims. All are very wel­come.

BLESS­ING OF THE GRAVES

The Avoca Mass and Bless­ing of the Graves will be held on Sunday, Septem­ber 15 at 2 p.m in the Kil­magig grave­yard. All are well­come to at­tend.
