TAI CHI/QI GONG CLASSES

The numbers 2, 4, 9 and 12 were drawn in this week’s Aughrim Sports club lotto August 26 the jackpot was won by Peggy Carroll. Match-three winner were: Anne Newsome c/o Bobby, Kyle Keegan, Catriona Leeson, Emily Byrne, and Michael Stapleton. The jackpot is €1,500.
The weekly lotto supports Aughrim camogie club, Aughrim GAA club, Aughrim Rangers Soccer club and Aughrim sports complex. People, who support the weekly lotto are lending support to the local sports clubs who are very much part of the community.
Our adult hurlers lost out by a goal in an absolute thriller in Ballinakill last Wednesday night against Bray in the Junior Hurling Championship. We now play Éire Óg next Saturday evening in the semi-final of the Junior B hurling championship. Please come along and support.
Congratulations to Aughrim Juvenile player James Lambert, who took first place in the all-Ireland tin whistle under-12 competition and second in the all-Ireland under-12.button accordion. James is also an accomplished hurler and footballer with Aughrim Juveniles.
