Knockananna play the final of Wicklow senior camogie championship on Saturday next, September 15, at 4 p.m. at St Patrick’s GAA pitch, Wicklow Town. The opposition is Donard and as always this will be a tight battle between these two teams. The girls are bidding for their fourth Wicklow senior championship title in a row this year so your support would be very much appreciated to help get them over the line.
The lads play their quarter final match in the Junior B championship against Rathnew in Avondale on Thursday evening at 7.45 p.m. Please get along to support the team as they bid to make it to the semi-final stages of the championship.
Thank you to all the scarecrow makers you are keeping us all entertained with your creations dotted around our village. Please make sure to drop your entry forms into Byrne’s shop or O’Keeffe’s pub for judging. For all of you who have not made your scarecrows yet there is still time as entries will be taken up to September 20 so get cracking as you are missing out on all the fun. As soon as your entry is received we will post pictures on Facebook.

CAR BOOT SALE
Knockananna Tidy towns will resume their monthly car boot sale in the hall on Saturday, September 28. If you have items to donate please contact any of the tidy town committee. The hall will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on September 28. Tea available all morning so even if you are not interested in buy or selling please come along for a cuppa and a chat.
