Garden County cyclists climb iconic routes
CO. WICKLOW based cycling team of 20 from Cycleplus Greystones returned from their Pyrenees cycling challenge recently, where they climbed over 6000m in four days, all iconic climbs from the Tour de France including the notorious Col de Tourmalet at 1700m other climbs included the Famous Col de Hatuacam, Col de Ardiden and the famous Col de Aubisque which was a once stage winner for Stephen Roche.
The group completed all stages and returned safely to enjoy the recovery period.
