Man fined for being drunk
An Arklow man was fined €350 in his absence for being drunk in a public place.
Thomas Kinsella (28), with an address at Apt 4, 27 Main Street, Arklow, was charged with being intoxicated on the Main Street in Arklow on June 6, 2018.
The court heard that Kinsella had refused to leave the area when instructed to do so by Gardai on the day in question and had failed to pay a fixed penalty.
Kinsella was not present at the sitting of Arklow District Court on Wednesday, September 18, when Judge David Kennedy imposed a fine of €350 his absence with three months to pay.
