Green­hill Road homes ap­pealed

AN ap­peal has been lodged with An Bord Pleanála in op­po­si­tion to plans for six semi-de­tached dwellings on Green­hill Road in Wick­low town.

In Septem­ber, Wick­low County Coun­cil granted per­mis­sion for the six dwellings and as­so­ci­ated works, in­clud­ing ded­i­cated ac­cess road, land­scaped pub­lic open space, bound­ary walls and hard and soft land­scap­ing and con­nec­tion to pub­lic ser­vices at Black­thorn Bay, Green­hill Road.

The per­mis­sion was granted to AJP Ther­mal Prop­er­ties Ltd for four three-bed dwellings and two-four bed dwellings, along with 18 car park spa­ces.

Stephen and Claire Ryan McGet­ti­gan and oth­ers have lodged an ap­peal with An Bord Pleanála against Wick­low County Coun­cil’s de­ci­sion.

The case is due to be de­cided by Jan­uary 29, 2020.
