THE Blainroe Junior Foursomes squad of Liam Connolly, Stephen Kenny, David Lally, Conor Leonard, Sean Leonard and Jonathan Ryan, managed by Dave Smyth and coached by David Lewis, PGA Professional are the Irish Junior Foursomes Runners-Up.

After an impressive win in the Leinster Final, Blainroe met Tuam in the All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday morning in Castle Dargan.

Blainroe secured a place in the final with an exciting finish on the 18th hole over two very tight matches.

They promptly returned to the course the same afternoon for the All-Ireland final against defending champions Warrenpoint.

Conditions on the course were tough with sodden fairways and deep rough playing havoc with lost balls.

Both sides played superb golf with the matches being called in favour of Warrenpoint on the 17th hole.

Congratulations to Blainroe on an excellent performance.

This is the first time Blainroe has ever competed in an All-Ireland final.

Conor Leonard, Jonathan Ryan, Sean Leonard, David Lally, Liam Connolly and Stephen Kenny from Blainroe Golf Club at the All-IrelandJunior Foursomes final in Castle Dargan.
