Bless­ing­ton va­ri­ety show

RACHEL Coyne and the Roscom­mon Sol­stice Choir will be the star per­form­ers at a va­ri­ety con­cert tak­ing place in Bless­ing­ton dur­ing the month of De­cem­ber.

Donard teenager Rachel made head­lines last year with a spell-bind­ing ver­sion of ‘Never Enough’ from ‘The Great­est Show­man’ on The Late Late Toy Show. It was her sec­ond ap­pear­ance on the show, hav­ing per­formed Sam Smith’s ‘Stay With Me’ in the 2014, aged only eleven. Roscom­mon Sol­stice Choir is a non-profit, vol­un­tary, com­mu­nity choir of over 100 mem­bers, un­der the di­rec­tion of An­drew and Eimear Reynolds.

The con­cert will act as a fundraiser for Bless­ing­ton Day Care Cen­tre and the Coimin Cen­tre and takes place at 8 p.m. on Sun­day, De­cem­ber 1 in the Church of Our Lady, Bless­ing­ton at 8 p.m.. Tick­ets are on sale through eventbrite.ie.
