Garda Molly Cor­bett’s com­mu­nity polic­ing clinic has re­turned to a new slot from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. ev­ery Mon­day at the com­mu­nity cen­tre.


Kil­coole Men­tal Health Sup­port Group wel­come you to come and dis­cuss the needs of the com­mu­nity as well as to de­cide a name for the group. Join us for com­pli­men­tary tea or cof­fee plus en­try to a free draw at Nickys on Mon­day the 30th from 10 a.m. to mid­day, Wed­nes­day the sec­ond from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. or Satur­day the fifth from 12.00 p.m. to 2 p.m.


Drop in com­mu­nity yoga at Com­mu­nity Cen­tre with Christina Han­ney. Thurs­days at 8.15 p.m. In­ter­me­di­ate level. Fri­days at 7.30 p.m. Be­gin­ners level. €8 drop in.


Bowls takes place on Tues­day and Thurs­day evenings at 8 p.m. in St Pa­trick’s/For­rester’s Hall. New mem­bers are wel­come.


Come join us for Mon­day Night Bingo in St Pa­trick’s Hall, Kil­coole. First game at 8 p.m. €10 per book (to in­clude loose sheet and jack­pot game). Ex­tra loose sheet €1. Raf­fle Tick­ets on sale on the night. All wel­come to at­tend.

We have now moved to the sec­ond Sun­day of the month. En­cour­ag­ing lo­cal and non-lo­cal pro­duc­ers of plants, vegeta­bles, crafts etc. Our next event will be on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 13, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bar­gains on prac­ti­cally any­thing from house­hold items to gar­den ad­di­tions, and even vin­tage or an­tique trea­sures. Vans must be booked in. Please pre-book in­door spa­ces early. Footfalls Walk­ing Fes­ti­val will be based in the Brock­agh Re­source Cen­tre from Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 25, to Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 28, with many of the walks tak­ing us through Wick­low Moun­tains Na­tional Park. All walks are led by ex­pe­ri­enced walk­ing lead­ers who will en­hance your day with in­for­ma­tion on lo­cal his­tory flora and fauna. The week­end of­fers a se­lec­tion of walk­ing choices such as Lug­naquilla (925 m), a night walk, mod­er­ate to easy walks through­out the week­end.

Reg­is­ter to­day to se­cure your place at bar­ret­ skw. Start­ing in Val­ley­mount on a 25km trek across the Wick­low Moun­tains, fin­ish­ing at the Brock­agh Re­source Cen­tre, Laragh. Bar­ret­stown is a res­i­den­tial camp for chil­dren and their fam­i­lies af­fected by can­cer and other se­ri­ous ill­nesses. They of­fer a range of fun, ad­ven­tur­ous and chal­leng­ing ac­tiv­i­ties sup­ported be­hind the scenes by 24-hour on site med­i­cal at­ten­tion and care.
