Burst pipe causes water disruption
A number of homes in Dunlavin were without water for a time on Monday after a water main burst.
Water supply was affected in the Friars Hill and surrounding areas during the incident. According to Irish Water, the repairs were completed on Monday evening with a full service restored to homeowners.
Separately, hydrant repair works in Tinahely caused some homeowners in the area to experience a loss of water on Monday. Irish Water’s website noted that the works were to take from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with water due to be fully restored around three hours after the works were completed.
