Harvest present NeilYoung tribute
THE band Harvest will present a tribute to Neil Young at the Hot Spot in Greystones on Saturday, October 12.
The eight-piece band was formed by Neil Young fan Sean O Leary in 2009.
Initially a four-piece, the band is now an eight-piece including pedal steel, electric piano and harmony backing vocals.
Harvest have successfully delivered brilliant live sold out shows throughout Ireland and the UK. Harvest mix the energy and dynamics of Neil’s electric numbers with Crazy Horse with the delicacy and beauty of songs from his acoustic periods. On October 12, Harvest will perform the classic album ‘Harvest’. They will do every song from the gentle ‘Out On The Weekend’ to the powerhouse of ‘Words’.
Fans can also expect to hear Neil’s greatest classic tracks from throughout his career, including powerful versions of ‘Down By the River’, ‘Cinnamon Girl’ and ‘Rockin’ In The Free World’ alongside choice acoustic numbers such as ‘Harvest Moon’, ‘Helpless’ and ‘Sugar Mountain’. Tickets range from €12 to €14 and are available at thehotspot.ie
