Har­vest present NeilYoung trib­ute

THE band Har­vest will present a trib­ute to Neil Young at the Hot Spot in Grey­stones on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 12.

The eight-piece band was formed by Neil Young fan Sean O Leary in 2009.

Ini­tially a four-piece, the band is now an eight-piece in­clud­ing pedal steel, elec­tric pi­ano and har­mony back­ing vo­cals.

Har­vest have suc­cess­fully de­liv­ered bril­liant live sold out shows through­out Ire­land and the UK. Har­vest mix the en­ergy and dy­nam­ics of Neil’s elec­tric numbers with Crazy Horse with the del­i­cacy and beauty of songs from his acous­tic pe­ri­ods. On Oc­to­ber 12, Har­vest will per­form the clas­sic al­bum ‘Har­vest’. They will do ev­ery song from the gen­tle ‘Out On The Week­end’ to the pow­er­house of ‘Words’.

Fans can also ex­pect to hear Neil’s great­est clas­sic tracks from through­out his ca­reer, in­clud­ing pow­er­ful ver­sions of ‘Down By the River’, ‘Cin­na­mon Girl’ and ‘Rockin’ In The Free World’ along­side choice acous­tic numbers such as ‘Har­vest Moon’, ‘Help­less’ and ‘Sugar Moun­tain’. Tick­ets range from €12 to €14 and are avail­able at the­hotspot.ie
