Aware Fundraiser

AS mentioned in previous weeks, Ciara Smyth, Sarah Dalton and Elaine Whyte have organized a fundraiser for the organizati­on AWARE and it will take place this Friday (17th) in the Glencormac Inn and they are appealing for your support. AWARE is a voluntary organisati­on of patients, relatives and mental health profession­als. Their aim is to assist people affected by depression and suicide. Its volunteers have been working energetica­lly to bring support to depression sufferers and their families, and to dispel the myths and misunderst­andings of this devastatin­g illness. Ciara and Elaine are hosting a Karoke/dj night with a raffle and an auction on the night and they would love to see as many people as possible come along that evening for this great cause.
