RUGBY

The Junior Cup Team started off their Leinster Schools cup campaign with a close game against Wesley College. With the score 8 all at the three quarter stage there was all to play for with good defensive play from both teams. Pres managed to break through the Wesley defense with about seven minutes to go to score a try and bring the score to 13 - 8. In the tense final minutes of the game Pres managed to keep the Wesley pack at bay to emerge the winners.

They take on the winners of St Michaels -v- Castleknock in the next round on the 1st March. Eamon Wolohan and Darren Walsh were the try scorers with a penalty kick scored by Conor Byrne. Well done to all and best of luck in the next round. Special thanks to Mr. Conroy for his hard work and time spent with the team.
