Camogie club to host Five Bounds Challenge

-

ANNACURRA Camogie Club will host its inaugural Five Bounds Challenge this Saturday morning.

This 10km fundraising race will see competitors head up Preban Hall to where the five boundaries of the local townlands meet. For those seeking a slightly gentler challenge, a 5km family fun run and walk will also be held.

Registration for both races can be completed online at popupraces.ie or from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. this Saturday morning, November 18, at Annacurra Community Hall. The race will start at 10.30 a.m.

Participants in both races can look forward to some fantastic prizes, with €100 up for grabs for the first male and female home in the 10km event while families can compete for entry to Dublin Zoo, tickets to Dundrum on Ice and lots more.

All funds raised will go directly to Annacurra Camogie Club and everyone is invited to hang around afterwards to enjoy the tasty pig on a spit, bean casserole and hot drinks. The showers and changing rooms will be available on the day. ARKLOW Rock Parnells GAA Club will hold it’s annual Mass for deceased members of the club next week.

The service will take place in the clubhouse on Emoclew Road in Arklow on Friday, November 24, at 8 p.m. Rev Liam Dunne will be the celebrant. Refreshments will be served after afterwards.

Arklow Rock Parnells AGM will take place in the clubhouse at 7.00 p.m. on the December 7.
