Well a complete blank out was the order of the day last weekend, a combination of ‘The Beast from the East’ and ‘Storm Emma’ put paid to all our fixtures.

Most of the country was under a blanket of snow due to the storms, conditions only fit for the Winter Olympics.

So, let’s hope the thaw this week doesn’t bring any problems regards flooding and we can get back to playing football.

Our Last Man Standing competition moves onto round four. At the weekend Tottenham’s comfortable 2-0 home win over relegation threatened Huddersfield meant 34 players safely booked their place in round four.

Liverpool’s impressive display in their 2-0 win over Newcastle at Anfield saw four players progress to the next round.

Joining them were the three players who selected Watford who duly obliged by beating bottom of the table West Brom 1-0 at Vicarage Road.

One player bravely picked Swansea at home to West Ham and they came up trumps when the welsh side hammered the unhappy Hammers by a score of 4-1.

Of the players that fell at the third round hurdle, Leicester let down seven players as they failed to make home advantage tell when they could only manage a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth with the Foxes only leveling matters in the dying seconds of injury time. Disappointing Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat away to Brighton saw another seven players bite the dust.

At the time of going to print we have 42 players definitely through to round four with another eight players hoping to join them if
