Huge turnout for Blessington’s very popular Easter Camp
BLESSINGTON GAA CLUB members enjoyed two fantastic days at their recent Easter Camp.
The event was another massive success with the club’s biggest attendance to date (54 more kids than last year!). A huge total of 258 girls and boys enjoyed every minute of the action packed couple of days.
From academy age right up to sixth class, there was endless GAA fun and skills to be found.
The weather on day one fared out better than day two, but that didn’t stop any of the young footballers and their buddies.
Every child received a lovely pair of crested gloves. The club had their presentations and big group photo (above) taken at the end of the camp.
“We say a huge thank you to all 30 coaches for giving up some of their midterm break and they all did a wonderful job,” said a lcub spokesperson.
