St Cronan’s retain the Credit Union Cup
THE final primary school hurling blitz of the year took place in Ballinakill on Thursday, May 3.
The Credit Union Cup was the prize on offer for the ten participating teams.
St Cronans 1 and 2, St Pat’s 1 and 2, Kilcoole, Newtownmountkennedy, Aughrim, St Kevin’s, St Laurence’s and Scoil Chualann were the teams participating.
The games were filled with great skill and all games played in a very sporting manner.
In Group A, Kilcoole and St Cronans 1 played a very exciting play-off with St Cronan’s winning and qualifying for the final.
In the other group Aughrim qualified for the decider.
After a thrilling final, St Cronan’s 1 were victorious and retained the Credit Union Cup against a brave and talented Aughrim side.

It is imperative that any school participating in
Wednesday 13th June at 10.00 a.m. in Charlesland Sports and Recreational Centre.
