Pet dog stolen from home

-

THE owners of three dogs returned home on Friday afternoon to discover that one of their beloved pets was missing and, it seems, stolen.

The incident occurred on Friday at Kilboy near Lil Doyle’s. The tan female Doberman disappeared some time between 7.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday. A fence surrounding the home had been damaged and parts removed. The broken pieces were then stacked up. This appears to rule out any suggestion that the dog broke the fence herself and points to the animal being stolen.

The dog is micro-chipped and considered an expensive breed. She is described as a placid dog.

Her owners contacted the gardaí, local vets and the pound but there have been no reported sightings so far. Anyone with any information should contact Wicklow Garda Station on (0404) 67107.
