Abby to take on mini marathon for Purple House
WICKLOW Rose Abby McKenna will be taking part in the Women’s Mini Marathon for Purple House Cancer Support Centre.
The Redcross woman will line out in the mini marathon in Dublin on Sunday, June 3.
The annual 10km event is only weeks away and Purple House Cancer Support is calling on women in Wicklow to join their team to help to support over 1,100 families who use the charity’s services each year. Other familiar faces taking part for Purple House include Spin1038’s Lauren Kelly and Irish International soccer star Aine O’Gorman.
Purple House Cancer Support Centre is based on Parnell Road in Bray and is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
