A great day in Abbotstown when 18 of older girls had fun packed day meeting all star players. The girls started the day with a training session with former Dublin goalie and All Star winner Clionadh O’Connor.

After lunch the girls played against four teams. Teams from Wexford, Sligo, Cavan and Monaghan, winning two and narrowly losing two.

They then had informative talk given by Cork star Orla Farmer & Monaghan star Sharon Courtney on lifestyle, health & nutrition.

Then they finished off with some lovely food on the woodpecker! Great bonding day for all involved.

The club and indeed the village was saddened and shocked at the untimely passing of one of our own young gaels. We send heartfelt sympathies to the parents, siblings, extended family and the many close friends and team mates of Jordan Quinn. We know Jordy will be flying the red and green for us when championship comes around. RIP young man.
