Avonmore FC under-12A v Sporting Greystones under-12: A hat-trick of goals from Mark O’Reilly saw our under-12A team take home three points from their match against Sporting Greystones today.

But this was very much a team affair, with excellent passing from his team mates in midfield, ensuring that the ball was placed perfectly for him.

Our defence were solid once again; Kyle Kenny unlucky not to get on the scoresheet himself with an determined run through the middle.

Oscar was outstanding in the backs, much to the frustration of the Greystones forwards.

Gavin Cullen dominated mid field and linked up perfectly with Ethan and Leighton on the wings. good to see our old team mate George Oxley who is back home for a short while, and even better to see him in an Avonmore jersey once again; great win lads, well done.

Coolboy under-16 v Avonmore under-16: Unfortunately our under-16s travelled all the way to Coolboy for an 11am kick off.

After we were all there 15 minutes we were only informed by the referee that our game was changed to 1pm.

We all agreed it was to long to stay around until 1pm to play the game.
