ST MARY’S CHURCH
Celebratory Mass for Sacramental recipients: All those who received the Sacraments of baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation in the parish in the past year are invited to a special Celebratory Mass at 11 a.m. in St Mary’s Parish Church this Sunday. Those, who received baptism and First Holy Communion are invited to carry white balloons and those who received Confirmation to carry red balloons. Weather permitting, there will be a party on the lawn after Mass and the balloons will be released into the air.

The next event of interest for members is tonight’s (Wednesday) 7 p.m. walk by Colin Scudds of the Dun Laoghaire Borough Historical Society, who will lead members and friends of the Dun Laoghaire Borough Historical Society on a Historic Walk from Kelly’s Avenue, George’s Place, and the Municipal Buildings, Dun Laoghaire’. This service operates in Enniskerry and Kilmacanogue and delivers hot meals every Tuesday and Thursday to older people in their homes. It’s an opportunity to connect with the community and provide a hot meal and social contact call to older people in the area. We are looking for volunteer drivers who can give up two or three hours twice a month to facilitate this much needed service. Elevation School of Performing Arts summer camp will be held in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh on the July 9 to July 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. For ages four years plus, all levels and abilities. Activities include drama, modern dance, street dance, ballet, games, arts and crafts, costume and prop making.
