Elizabeth McCarthy and Ena Hickey were the victors on Monday, October 22. They were followed by Sheila O’Leary and Celine Healy in second place and Susan Hill and Mary McCarthy in third place.

Wednesday, October 24, was a busy night and the competition was divided between two rooms. In the Blue Room, Joe Murphy and Leonard Murphy took first place followed closely by Jane Bradshaw and Heather Sheane. In third place were Deborah Shiperlee and Dorothy Levingston.

Meanwhile in the red room the scores were: first place Una Ryan and Una McGowran; second Ann McCoy and Ger Power and third place Paul Fenton and Brian O’Leary.

On Thursday, October 25, first place went to Ann Cahill and Siobhan Howard. Andy Bolger and Sean Hollingsworth were in second and Jim and Mary Rose Callan were third.

The winners on Friday, October 26, were Eric and Dorothy Levingston, Cyril Goode and Joe Kelly. Third place went to Marie Barrett and Angela Nolan.
