Abbey Grounds hosts a Christmas Market

THERE will be plenty of stalls to get you in the festive spirit at the Christmas Market taking place in the Abbey Grounds, Wicklow town.

You can come down and try some local artisan foods, purchase some decorations or find that special gift for a loved one.

Those attending can also meet some friendly Alpacas named Barry, Tom, Eoghan, Ted, Ash and Aoise, pet them and bring them on a walk around the Abbey Grounds. Entry to the market is free so bring the whole family and get into the Christmas spirit.

Other attractions include Santa Claus, beverages, food, artisan market, craft market entertainment, workshops, Christmas trees, a funfair and so much more.

Local school and town choirs will also be performing, while twelve stalls imported from Germany will represent the twelve days of Christmas.

The Wicklow Christmas Market will be open to the public on December 8, 9, 15, 16 and 22 from noon to 6 p.m. and promises to be an event not to be missed. If your school choir would like to perform then send an email to info@wicklowchristmarket.com.
