Couples taking on strictly for hospice
TAKE a dance routine, add a bit of sparkle, sprinkle over a bit of feel-good fun and you’ve got all the ingredients for the annual Wicklow Hospice Strictly Come Dancing.
All the volunteer couples are busy finessing their dances as they prepare to hit the dancefloor on Saturday, November 24. This popular show, which was a total sell-out last year, will begin at 8 p.m. in the Arklow Bay Hotel, with doors opening at 7 p.m.
Tickets cost €20 for adults and €10 for children and are now on sale in the Arklow Bay Hotel and Avondale Sports in Rathdrum. They can also be bought directly from any of the wonderful dancers or by contacting the hospice on 087 0954137.
Tickets will not be available on the door on the night of the show so people are urged to snap theirs up soon.
Construction of the Wicklow hospice is well under way and the project remains on track to open its doors in late 2019.
