Glenart College rolls out the red carpet for open evening
GLENART COLLEGE threw open its doors to prospective students recently for its annual open evening.
Pupils from the local primary schools and beyond, accompanied by their parents, grandparents and siblings, were treated to tours of Glenart College and its wonderful facilities.
Current students were on hand to explain their experiences in Glenart and show case their work.
Principal Louise Kearns gave a talk to over 600 people in which she outlined the many opportunities, subjects and facilities on offer in Glenart.
There were a host of students projects, sporting and academic achievements on display, with refreshments provided by the school in house catering team.
Prospective students got the chance to try their hand at among other experiences, woodwork and metalwork and to taste some of the home economic treats, workout in the school gym and speak a new language while being entertained by the school choir.
