Cir­cle K in Bless­ing­ton Tesco staff raise €2,500 for Tem­ple Street to host grand open­ing

CIR­CLE K, for­merly known as Topaz En­ergy, will cel­e­brate the re­brand­ing of Cir­cle K of Parkview in Bless­ing­ton with a spe­cial ‘grand open­ing’ to­mor­row (Thurs­day, Novem­ber 8).

Cir­cle K of­fi­cially launched in Ire­land ear­lier this year. Over 420 ser­vice sta­tions will be re­branded as Cir­cle K, in­clud­ing 15 sites in the Gar­den County.

Dur­ing to­mor­row’s grand open­ing, the Bless­ing­ton ser­vice sta­tion will have spe­cial of­fers both in­store and on the fore­court for a limited time.

Derek Nolan, Se­nior Di­rec­tor of Re­tail Op­er­a­tions, Cir­cle K Ire­land said: ‘It is ex­cit­ing to wel­come our lat­est Wick­low Cir­cle K ser­vice sta­tion into our fam­ily of mer­chants. As we con­tinue the roll­out of Cir­cle K across Ire­land we want to em­pha­sise that, while we have a new name, it is the same great peo­ple work­ing un­der the Cir­cle K brand.

‘I would like to take this op­por­tu­nity to thank the hard­work­ing staff at our new­est Wick­low Cir­cle K ser­vice sta­tion, and in­deed all our Cir­cle K staff for mak­ing our re­brand come to life in lo­cal com­mu­ni­ties,’ he said. TESCO stores in Co Wick­low raised a fang­tas­tic €2,560 over the bank hol­i­day week­end as part of the na­tional ‘Trick or Treat for Tem­ple Street’ fundrais­ing cam­paign.

The funds will go to­wards the pur­chase of a new ul­tra­sound ma­chine for Neu­ro­surgery.

Tem­ple Street has been Tesco Ire­land’s char­ity part­ner since Oc­to­ber 2014.
