Square One presents ‘Unbroken Circle’ in Bray
THE latest production by Square One Theatre Group has hit the stage at the Mermaid Arts Centre.
Unbroken Circle by James Wesley opened on Tuesday night and continues nightly at 8 p.m. until Saturday, November 10, at the Bray venue. Paul Flynn directs Square One Theatre Group in what is a new play that recently premiered on Broadway.
Set in 1970 Galveston, Texas, a family is brought together for the first time in years on the day of it’s patriarch’s funeral. As the day turns into night, the impact of the man on his family, unfolds in surprising ways leaving each member grappling with the truth. It is hilarious and disturbing as it explores how family secrets affect every person in each generation differently. Inspired by a true story, it’s content is not suitable for under 16s and may offend.
Tickets cost €18 (€16 concession) and are available from the Mermaid.
