The ‘Galway Boy’ to perform in the Grand
MIKE Denver, affectionately known as the ‘Galway Boy’, will be performing in the Grand Hotel on Thursday, November 22.
Mike has been involved in the entertainment scene for 15 years and his meteoric rise in popularity over the past while has culminated with him being voted ‘Entertainer of the Year 2016’ together with number one album of the Year ‘Cut Loose’ at the RTE ACMA Awards. Backed by a band comprising of Ireland’s top musicians, Mike presents a two and a half high energy show which features all his ‘Hits’ including ‘Tommy K’,’Wasn’t that a Party’,’Galway Girl’ and ‘Paddy’.
Tickets cost €30 and the special guest will be Country star Gerry Guthrie.
A great night is also in prospect for the Grand Hotel on February 23 2019 when Johnny McEvoy will be performing. Johnny has been one of the most enduring and talented singer/songwriters in these islands over the past 50 years. This nostalgic evening of ‘Song and Story’ features all of Johnny’s many hit songs, such as ‘Muirsin Durkan’, ‘Boston Burglar’ and ‘Those Brown Eyes’. The concert will be part of a nationwide tour undertaken by the popular performer.
