Cancer support receives cheque
THE Mariners Golf Society raised €4,050 from their annual golf classic held over the summer at Wicklow Golf Club.
Eileen and Dervela Earls of Wicklow Cancer Support dropped into The Old Forge during the week to collect a cheque of all the proceeds raised from the classic.
‘The Mariners have been a continued support to us over the years and their support is very much appreciated by all at Wicklow Cancer Support. We would also like to say a big thanks to all those who took part and also to all the sponsors of prizes,’ said Eileen.
