After a busy day of shopping and ensuring all the Christmas presents have been bought, why not drop into one of Wicklow town’s many cafes, bars or restaurants in a relaxing atmosphere for a hearty meal, a cuppa and maybe even a mulled wine or two.
An added attraction this year is the Christmas Market taking place in the Abbey Grounds on the weekends of December 8 and 9, December 15 and 16 and December 22 between 12 noon and 6 p.m.
There will be a selection of local artisan foods, decorations, gifts, music, entertainment and workshops, as well as the chance to visit Santa in his magical Grotto. There will also be an Alpaca experience where adults and children will get a chance to mingle with all things woolly and wonderful.
