The county under-20 football championship was a hugely welcome addition to the Cill Mantáin schedule in 2018.

The competition proved to be quite competitive in both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ divisions with most games at both levels being closely fought and entertaining and with no certainty as to the finalists until the penultimate stage.

The Éire Óg mentors are grateful for the competition as it helps to keep interest alive among young footballers who are in transition between youth and adult football. It was an added bonus that our
