OLDEST HOTEL GETS NEWEST TECHNOLOGY

-

THE Woodenbridge Hotel has recently added a lifesaving new facility to its premises.

At the oldest hotel in Ireland, established in 1608, Gerard O’Brien, the general manager, was delighted to be able to add new technology in the form of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

The AED is not just available for guests, it is also available to any member of the community 24 hours a day as it has been placed in an unlocked external heated cabinet, so anyone in need can take it and use it if required.

Pictured below with the newly installed AED is Gerard O’Brien, general manager of the Woodenbridge Hotel with some members of the Woodenbridge staff team and members of the local Community First Responders teams from Avoca, Ballycoog and Conary.
