Vibrant Bray has something for everyone

-

AS CHRISTMAS shopping season continues, Bray is full of options to delight every member of the family.

The vibrant town received recognition for everything it has to offer, when it was a finalist at this year’s Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town Awards.

The awards promote enterprise by bringing business and community groups together, in towns and villages across Ireland, to showcase the spirit of enterprise in their local area.

The very best of what Bray has to offer was showcased to a panel of judges who visited the town just three months ago for a presentation in the Mermaid.

Representatives from the local authority, the business sector and community groups made an impressive presentation. Its theme highlighted how businesses and community groups are working together collaboratively with the Municipal District and State agencies to contribute to the overall enterprising nature of the town.

And it shows in the glittering display surrounding Bray for Christmas, and all of the amazing offers to be had in the town’s shops and restaurants.

A day out in Bray to shop, eat, drink, see Santa at Killruddery, or just go for a walk can’t be matched anywhere else. For festive spirit - the seaside town has it all.

And anyone who captures a bit of that Christmas magic on their phone or camera can still enter a Christmas photo competition with amazing prizes from Bray Municipal District.

Simply tag your pic on social media with the hashtag #ChristmasInBray.

The top prize is one year’s free parking to the value of €500. Until the end of December though, parking is free in council-owned car parks.

There are loads of other prizes for entrants who photograph something of the seasonal magic in Bray.
