Once again our hardworking Christmas Lights Committee have excelled themselves.
Beautiful Shillelagh has again been transformed into a Kalidescope of colour for the festive season and despite the inclement weather conditions the switching on ceremony on Friday last attracted a large enthusiastic attendance, from all connected with Shillelagh G.A.A Club Well done to all concerned.
The Couch to 5K under the Baton of Jimmy Schoeb continues on the Fairgreen on this Friday evening, December 14, at 7pm.
Numbers attending so far have exceeded all expectations and with the festive season imminent it is perhaps an opportunity for participants to get their retaliation in first: Let’s get it done.
A reminder the walkway is now fully operational and any walking/running enthusiasts unable to avail of the facility during daylight hours the lighting system will trigger at dusk and remain on until 9.30 pm.
