Council receives further information on proposed amendments to homes
ADDITIONAL information was sought by Wicklow County Council over a planning application seeking to make amendments to a partially constructed residential scheme in Rathnew.
Rathnew SPV Limited lodged the application seeking alterations to Hazelbrook Rise at Ballybeg, Rathnew, and provided the additional information requested by the local authority on December 19.
The planning section of Wicklow County Council are due to make their decision by January 24 of this year.
The amendment includes the construction of two blocks, block 32 and block 34, in lieu of the previously permitted 2.5 storey crèche building, three storey apartment building comprising three two bedroom units and a two storey building with three bed dwellings.
The proposed Block 32 will comprise a two storey childcare facility building of c.368sqm.
The proposed three storey Block 34 will comprise of four apartments to include two one bed apartments at ground floor, two two bed duplex units at first and second floor with balconies/ terraces to the north, east and south elevations.
The proposed development will also include 26 car parking spaces, landscaping, shared open space, associated site layout amendment works and site services.
The site forms part of a permitted development of 154 dwellings and a childcare facility. Under the new application, the total unit numbers will be reduced to 153.
A concurrent application on the site, if granted, will reduce the housing units further to an overall total of 147 units.
