TABLE QUIZ – THANK YOU
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the table quiz on Thursday. A great night was had by all and we raised €870. Thanks to Jude for the questions and Pat O’Neill and Magali O’Driscoll for the score-keeping. Finally, thanks to the winning team who donated their winnings back to the parish.
GAA CLUB NEWS
As 2018 comes to a close we want to thank everyone who helped in any way to keep the club going. It takes a lot of time and effort and thanks to everyone for giving up their time.
We want to thank two of our committee members who are retiring this year after many years service. Ann O’Brien and Declan Byrne. You have both earned a well deserved rest. Finally we wish every one a happy 2019.
45 CARD GAME
There will be a 45 Card game on Friday, January 4, in the Saltee, starting at 9 p.m.
WALKING CLUB
Tinahely Walking Club are holding an introductory walk for newcomers to the group this Sunday January 6 at Mangans/ Garryhoe. Level B-, 10km, three hours. Meet Tinahely 10.30 a.m.
As usual, please remember to wear proper walking boots, pack full rain gear and bring adequate food and drink.
