NEW YEAR WISHES

We send good wishes to all the readers of our local notes for a pleasant and fruitful 2019 and hope you all have a lovely New Year with all your family. A sincere thanks to everyone who supplied me with notes in the past year, and I will be looking forward to that same support and goodwill with the local notes in 2019 and hopefully we can do our very best to keep Coolgreany to the forefront in the coming year as heretofore. Thank you all sincerely.

45 CARD DRIVE

Please note that the 45 Card Games will resume again on Friday, January 4. A very successful 45 Card Drive is ongoing in the Coolgreany Inn on each Friday night at 8.30 p.m., everyone is very welcome to come along for a good night of craic at the cards, and some lovely finger food thrown in for good measure. So please join us if you enjoy a game of 45.

TIDY TOWNS

The Coolgreany Tidy Towns Group would like to extend their good wishes to everyone in our community for a very successful 2019, especially to everyone who helped the group in any way over the past year and we look forward to that same support and good will in 2019, and hopefully we can make further progress in the coming year.

COMMUNITY ALERT

A sincere thanks to everyone who helped and supported us in any way over the past year.

Please continue with that support in the coming year, and especially in the winter months of bad weather.

Someone might need a helping hand, or maybe just to have a chat which may help to relieve some loneliness in their lives. It is surprising what a few minutes of some ones can do for a neighbour who may be living alone and needs that small bit of support in their lives.
