Baltinglass Golf Club is now firmly established as one of the finest Parkland courses in Leinster. The course is playable all year round but really comes into its own in the summer months where the expertise and hard work of course superintendents Martin Donegan, Eamon Doherty and the many volunteers is showcased.

Golfers travel from all over the country to experience the unique mix of golf holes, where no 2 holes are alike.

It offers a mix of mature tree lined fairways, wandering deer, the water featured par 3 second hole and our famous first hole which is famed far and wide as one of the finest opening holes in the country.

The club is extremely popular with societies and the number of returns year after year is testament to the quality of the course and the friendliness of the welcome received. Given its modest green fees Baltinglass is without doubt one of the best value courses around.

The committee and members are constantly reinvesting and improving the facilities. Next year a massive drainage project backed by the sports capital grant scheme will commence.
