No objections over disposals
A NUMBER of Part 8 disposals of council assets were passed by the elected members at last Monday’s meeting of Wicklow County Council, the first of the New Year.
No votes were required for any of the disposals on the meeting’s agenda as no Councillors objected to any of the individual cases, though Cllr Tommy Cullen did abstain from voting for a disposal in Arklow to the Masonic Lodge Committee.
45 Dunbur Park, Wicklow town, was disposed of to Maria O’Reilly and John Raphael Keaveny, the personal representatives in the estate of Bridget ‘Bridie’ Corcoran (deceased).
It was also agreed to the disposal of the council’s interest and equity in 6 Wolfe Tone Square West in Bray to William Dodd of 6 Wolfe Tone Square, Bray.
0.081 acres of land in the townland of Corporation Lands adjacent to Ballyguile, Wicklow town, was disposed of to Noel Howes and Helen Howes of 34 Mountainview, Ballyguile.
There was also agreement reached over the disposal of 19 Connolly Square, Bray, by deed of transfer and rectification to Bryan Shortt, personal represent- ative of the estate of Elizabeth Shortt (deceased).
The freehold interest in 33 Rory O’Connor Place, Arklow, was transferred to Catherine Going, legal representative of Bridget Going (deceased) of 33 Rory O’Connor Place.
One square metre of land at Beechdale, Naas Road, Blessington, will be disposed of to Gas Networks Ireland of Gasworks Road, Cork.
1,860 sq ft of lands in the townland adjacent to Arklow Masonic Lodge will be handed over to the Masonic Hall Committee, Arklow Masonic Lodge, Arklow.
