Final weeks of annual Lions quiz series

THE winning team of the Lions District table quiz held in Whistlers Lounge on Wednesday last consisted of top quizzers Ray St John, Declan McInerney, Stephen Doherty and Pat Sheehy.

The team generously donated their winnings to their chosen charity. In second place were Cian Molloy Dave Whelan Lorna Dempsey and Maire Molloy.

Dominican College Wicklow and Wicklow Scouts were really well represented on the night and Whistlers staff pulled out all the stops to facilitate all the supporters.

Tonight, Wednesday, February 13, the quiz organising committee will be in Fitzpatrick’s Lounge in Wicklow. The following Wednesday, February 20, The Bridge Tavern will be hosting the quiz for Move4Parkinsons and the Wicklow Town Team. The final weekly quiz for the season will take place in Ernie’s Bar in Wicklow.
