Motorist was holding phone

PAT O’Connor (68) from The Square, Ashford was fined €150 for a motoring offence considered by Judge Brian O’Shea at Gorey District Court.

The summons was issued after O’Connor was seen holding his mobile phone while driving in Ferns on May 22 last year in a silver Peugeot 307.

He did not attend court.
