Suspended sentence

An Arklow man convicted of trespass received a six-month prison sentence, suspended for a year, at Arklow District Court last Wednesday.

Keelin Walker of 68 The Maples, Arklow, was charged with trespass at Martin’s Lane, Arklow on July 15, 2018.

The court heard that the defendant has not come to garda attention since this offence date.

Judge Kennedy suspended the sentence in Walker’s own bond of €100 and ordered him to attend all probation appointmen­ts, to inform the officer of any change of address, attend a drug and alcohol treatment programme and employment training.
