Motorist admits speeding

BERNICE Lang from 37 Crinion Park, Wicklow came to Gorey District Court last Wednesday to deal with a motoring summons.

She admitted speeding when she drove at 91 km/h at Wells Hill on February 5 last year, in breach of the 80 km/h limit.

She explained that she had failed to pay a fine issued in the post as she had been undergoing knee surgery.

Judge John Cheatle set an €80 penalty as he marked a conviction.
