Wicklow Minors beaten by Louth
THE Wicklow Ladies Minor footballers lost out to Louth in their opening game of the 2019 Leinster Ladies Minor Football Championship on a 6-8 to 3-10 scoreline in Bray last weekend.
The home side showed remarkable resillience to fight back from a 5-7 to 0-4 half-time deficit, but battle back they did and they managed to score 3-6 over the course of the second half with Louth down to 14 for a period.
Wicklow will now look forward to facing Kilkenny at home on March 18 and another home clash for their third outing, this time against Carlow on April 14.
