- By MARY FOGARTY

EVA-ROSE Kane (8) from Enniskerry, Lily Moore (11), Ralfs Matusevics (10) and Soirse Merrigan (8) from Wicklow Town, and Katie Goulding (9) from Rathnew are members of a dance troupe who got four yesses on last Saturday’s Ireland’s Got Talent.

Also in the group are Abigail Ryan (9), Dominykas Kairys (9), Cristian Cepoi (12), Malgorzata Pawlak (12) and Dovydas Staneviciusn (7), all from Dublin.

‘All the moves were fantastic, you were perfectly in sync, full of energy,’ said judge Denise Van Outen. ‘The audience were on their feet, so that speaks volumes.’

Michelle Visage decided to trick the dancers and everyone else. ‘I’m not sure,’ she said, before: ‘just kidding, it’s a yes from me!’

The children go to Dance Talent Academy in the Liffey Valley area. While they all usually dance with partners or solo, they formed DTK (Dance Talent Kids) especially for this programme.

Lily-Rose’s mother Paula said that it was such a proud moment for the parents to see them dance in front of the judges. The dancers had put in a lot of work to get to that moment. They usually dance between eight and 10 hours each week. The hard work paid off when the audience members all got to their feet to applaud the talented youngsters.

They are a Latin and ballroom troupe and some of the members have been dancing since they were three years old.

They all watched the series last year love it and wanted to apply. They regularly compete in Ireland UK and further afield at ballroom and Latin dance competitions.

The dancers performed a mini ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ show for the judges. They created the routine especially for Ireland’s Got Talent.

They mostly dance in couples so this was a different style of performance for them.

They applied to take part in Ireland’s Got Talent because they believe that for their young age they have a natural talent for dance that they would like to show the judges and audience what they can do.

Their ambition is to be world champion dancers. They have between themselves won several dancing titles Ireland UK and worldwide.

Eva-Rose is eight years old and she goes to school in St Gerard’s in Bray. She has been dancing since she was three and a half years old.

She loves to dance it’s really fun and her favourite thing is to win lots of dancing prizes - Eva-Rose has lots of trophies at home.

Her dance partner Dovidas is seven and a half years old he has been dancing since he was four. Eva-Rose has been his partner for a year and together they have won lots of prizes. Dovidas likes traveling to competitions and recently has been to Holland and Athens in Greece.

Denise is their favourite judge and they were all really excited to dance for the judges.
