Baltinglass Dental merges with Dental Care Ireland
BALTINGLASS Dental has announced its merger with Dental Care Ireland (formerly Gillman Dental Clinic) in Carlow.
As part of the partnership, the west-Wicklow practice led by Dr Lotte Ramsden will re-locate from Church Lane in Baltinglass to the recently refurbished Dental Care Ireland practice on Tullow Street in Carlow.
Dr Ramsden will work alongside Dr Richard Gillman, Dr Colm Traynor and Dr Róisín Brady to provide a full range of dental treatments.
A native of Denmark, Dr Ramsden trained and worked as a dentist in Wales, before relocating to Ireland in 2005. She took over Baltinglass Dental in 2012, having previously worked as a dental associate in both Tallaght and Carlow. She has a special interest in treating nervous dental patients, and has trained in providing sedation.
‘We have such a loyal patient base at Baltinglass Dental, spanning Wicklow, Carlow and Kildare,’ said Dr Ramsden. ‘By merging with Dental Care Ireland in Carlow, we can greatly enhance our overall patient offering. The practice on Tullow Street has been upgraded to the highest possible standards, and it is an ideal opportunity to consolidate many years of experience under the one roof.
‘I very much look forward to working closely with Dick and all the team,’ she said.
Dr Richard Gillman, principal dentist at Dental Care Ireland Carlow, said: ‘Both of our practices have a strong heritage in family dentistry, and this development will allow us to further broaden our service to patients in the locality.’
