THE Wicklow ICA Federation held a special celebration night in Tinakilly Country House Hotel to mark the upcoming 65th one act drama festival taking place in Glenealy later this month.
A total of fourteen acts and sketches will take place at this year’s festival, with twelve different ICA and drama groups involved.
Guests at Tinakilly Country House in Rathnew were treated to some canapés and refreshments, including some bubbly, and enjoyed some party pieces and charades.
‘It was a great night and it was wonderful to see some past Wicklow Federation Presidents in attendance. It was for ICA members and celebrated 65 years of the festival. We also remembered all the women involved in the festival down through the years,’ said Hilda Roche.
The acts set for performances this year include Balally Players, Ballycoog ICA, St. Patrick’s D.S., Studio Productions, Delgany D.S., Delgany ICA, Ashford ICA, Wicklow Town ICA, Glencullen Musical and D.S., Dalkey Players and Avoca ICA.
