THE Wick­low ICA Fed­er­a­tion held a spe­cial cel­e­bra­tion night in Ti­nakilly Coun­try House Ho­tel to mark the up­com­ing 65th one act drama fes­ti­val tak­ing place in Gle­nealy later this month.

A to­tal of four­teen acts and sketches will take place at this year’s fes­ti­val, with twelve dif­fer­ent ICA and drama groups in­volved.

Guests at Ti­nakilly Coun­try House in Rath­new were treated to some canapés and re­fresh­ments, in­clud­ing some bub­bly, and en­joyed some party pieces and cha­rades.

‘It was a great night and it was won­der­ful to see some past Wick­low Fed­er­a­tion Pres­i­dents in attendance. It was for ICA mem­bers and cel­e­brated 65 years of the fes­ti­val. We also re­mem­bered all the women in­volved in the fes­ti­val down through the years,’ said Hilda Roche.

The acts set for per­for­mances this year in­clude Balally Play­ers, Bal­ly­coog ICA, St. Patrick’s D.S., Stu­dio Pro­duc­tions, Delgany D.S., Delgany ICA, Ash­ford ICA, Wick­low Town ICA, Glen­cullen Mu­si­cal and D.S., Dalkey Play­ers and Avoca ICA.
